Quolus Construction Services provide site crews for general contractors and developers who look for a stable and reliable workforce in a temporary construction environment.  Our mark ups are as low as possible, by leveraging our economies of scale and keeping overhead down. Since 1993, we have been able to attract and keep quality personnel by offering steady work, fair wages, B.C. Medical Plan, extended health and dental, and industry training. Our employees are conscientious, reliable, and skilled. Our charge out rate includes the following:

*Please be aware that premiums may apply for items such as excessive travel, shift differential, multiple accreditation’s, lead roles, and specialty skills. Rates are negotiable. 

Currently we have around 300 employees, providing a solid employee base to draw on for your project. We work closely with our clients to ensure they have the right blend of skill and experience, so their job sites have the right talent when they need it.  Quolus carpenters provide their own tools, and specialize in deficiencies, achieving tens of thousands of sign-offs over the years. Quolus is the first C.O.R. (WorksafeBC Certificate of Recognition) certified company in our classification, and we employ two full time Safety Managers to provide support and training to our workers. Invoices are issued every two weeks and payable 30 days from the date of invoice. Overtime is charged and paid as required by the Employment Standards Act. Types of Labour available with Quolus

Have a range of skills, including experience with drywall repairs, carpentry, silicone caulking, touch up of painting and decorating, and will pride themselves on an eye for detail.

Framing carpenters’ erect walls, floors, and roofs for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings and other structures. Framing carpenters also install doors, windows, and hardware for construction projects

This position provides occupational first aid coverage, treats injured patients, maintains and operates first aid rooms and equipment, and performs other related record keeping functions associated with occupational first aid.

Construction Safety Officer ensures that construction workers are following established policies and safety regulations. A construction safety officer may take on additional roles and responsibilities, but their primary job is to help create safer construction sites

A construction laborer or construction worker does physical labor on construction sites. They may prepare sites by cleaning them, loading or unloading materials and removing hazards. A general laborer may also run some types of equipment or put together and take apart scaffolding and other temporary structures.

The Skid Steer Operator is responsible for the safe operation of a skid steer during project construction. skid-steer loader or skid steer is a small, rigid-frame, engine-powered machine with lift arms used to attach a wide variety of labor-saving tools or attachments.

Lead carpenters are known as craftsmen with a high degree of experience and extensive skills. They have the ability in managing job sites with trade contractors and multiple employees. Lead carpenters generally involve all aspects of construction work using different wooden materials.

Provide a variety of highly skilled repair and refinish functions, some of which include; damage analysis, replacing colour, filing damage, grain replacement, spot finish, sheen adjustment, scratch removal and finish care. Very knowledgeable on products needed for each situation.

A hoist operator, sometimes called an exterior manlift operator, runs the equipment that controls the movement of platforms that carry people and equipment from floor to floor on work sites.

Perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in the operation of light, medium and heavy equipment and trucks; Responsible for understanding and following all operating policy and procedures while operating equipment. safety regulations. Provide a variety of functions throughout a project but are often focused on the final repairs and deficiencies required before turnover. They have a strong understanding of the materials and products needed for each situation.

Responsible for Directing drivers, pedestrians, and workers to safe routes around road construction sites. Able to assist and review traffic management plans and keep the flow of traffic moving from site specifications
